- Auction Bidding Statement
ABC Auto services or their affiliates can not guarantee the availability of
bidding due to internet disturbances, outside power, problems with the auction
site, nor any other reason which may cause the bid not to be placed or not
sufficiently bid to the maximum requested by the customer. We will try to place
each bid with the utmost caution, however, if the bid can not or is be placed,
we will not be responsible.
- Estimate Explanation Statement
ABC Auto services or their affiliates will try to be as accurate as possible
with the information received from the estimate we are explaining, however, we
can not guarantee the accuracy of the estimate explanation due to the fact that
the information we received to write the explanation from is the opinion of the
original estimator or repair facility.
- Salvage Price Statement
ABC Auto services or their affiliates do not create the bids offered for your
vehicle nor do we place bids ourselves. We will obtain 3 (three) separate bids
on your vehicle that will be based on the information we receive from you via
the internet form or other conveyance. These bids will be from reputable
agencies both wholesale and/or retail depending on the vehicle information we
receive. The bids will be good for a period of 7 (seven) days if the description
of the vehicle is accurate. Past the 7 (seven) days the bid values are
negotiable with the individual agencies offering them. We can not be held
responsible for inaccurate descriptions of the vehicles from the customer toward
the bid value.
- Condition Report Statement
ABC Auto services or their affiliates or agents report on what is seen and heard
at the time of the report and can not be held responsible for conditions that
occur after the inspection. Please understand that we inspections of the
vehicles that have a cleanliness problem, at times of inclement weather, or due
to time constraints may cause items to be missed. While we regret that this may
happen, we can not be held responsible for errors in opinion, or omissions due
to the above. Bid on these vehicles with extreme caution and use your own
discretion.
- Body Shop Referral
ABC Auto services or their affiliates upon receiving the location or area you
are in need of a repair facility will locate the 3 (three) nearest gold or
platinum I-Car facilities to it. If there are no or less than 3 (three) I-Car
facility within a 50 (fifty) radius, we will locate at out discretion the
closest available facilities to that area. The repair facilities are responsible
for the repairs done to the vehicle and any and all claims should be directed to
them. We can not be held responsible for poor workmanship due to repairs done at
any location given you. We are only acting as a directory to repair facilities
and can not guarantee any work done by them. Please talk to the body repair
facility of your choice and feel comfortable with them and the way they
ultimately will do the repairs.
- Parts locating Statement
ABC Auto services or their affiliates upon receiving the list of used parts you
require will notify you by email if there will be an additional charge for the
service (usually we will find 5 different used parts for the initial fee). If
you decide not to continue we will gladly refund your initial fee within 7
(seven) working days. Once we accept the list we will locate the used parts,
notify you of their accessibility, negotiate the price (if requested), and find
out shipping costs. We can not be held responsible for damage during shipping to
you, returned items, poorly described parts by the distributor, and shipments
not received. We will assist you with the retrieval of any monies owed you but
the ultimate responsibility for the parts and payment will be yours. You will be
in direct contact with the establishment that has your part and the payment to
them.
- eBay Sales Statement
ABC Auto services or their affiliates upon receiving the information regarding
the vehicle or part you want placed on eBay will notify you by phone how to
continue the placement. We can not be held responsible for the sale of the
vehicle as it is an open bid type auction and depending on your needs for the
vehicle, starting price, buy it now price, reserve and other considerations your
vehicle may not sell or receive bids. We will offer you advice toward what we
believe to be the best way to market your vehicle or part but all ultimate
decisions will be yours.
- Wholesale Retail Value Statement
ABC Auto services or their affiliates do not create the the values offered for
your vehicle . We will obtain 6 (six) separate prices on your vehicle (3 (three)
wholesale and 3 (three) retail), that will be based on the information we
receive from you via the internet form or other conveyance and used toward the
evaluation. These prices will be from reputable agencies both wholesale and
retail . The prices will usually be good for a period of 30 (thirty) days if the
description of the vehicle is accurate. Past the 30 (thirty) days the values are
usually no longer valid. We can not be held responsible for inaccurate
descriptions of the vehicles from the customer toward the value. We are not a
purchasing agent for these vehicles but if asked we will offer a bid on the
unit. All prices are contingent upon accurate information.
- Transportation Locating Statement
ABC Auto services or their affiliates upon receiving the location or area you
are in need of a transport will obtain for you 3 (three) estimates on
transporting your vehicle to the location you desire. We are not a broker nor
are we a transport company. We will send out to several transport agencies and
offer you the best 3 (thee) quotes. Once you have decided on a transport agency
the final responsibility to contact them will be yours. They will become your
agent at that time. We can not be held responsible for damage to the vehicle
during shipping, increases in cost you agree upon, or time constraints for the
actual transport. Transport companies run on highways and due to congestion,
repairs, and other non-foreseen circumstances transports may not always pick-up
or deliver in a timely fashion. We can not be held responsible for these or any
delays.
- General Disclaimer Statement
In all case where there is a third party in the service we are acting as an
agent for both customer and service provider. Our first responsibility is to our
customer, but once we have gotten both the customer and the provide together we
can no longer be held responsible for problems that may occur. We will offer to
the customer assistance if can however by offering any assistance does not mean
we accept responsibility for the problem.
